What are the admission requirements for the English Teacher Training College?


For both models (Traditional classroom & Web-based)  admission requirements are:

  • To take a diagnostic English level test.
  • To attend an interview with  future professors and current advanced students in the program .
  • To take the Prep-Course: preparatory course.
  • To attend the new student orientation workshop for higher education .
  • To take an admission exam.

What documents do I have to submit?


  • Enrollment form
  • High school diploma
  • A medical exam certificate of good health signed by the Public Health Administration.
  • A phonoaudiology exam
  • A signed Student Code of Conduct and Discipline Policy (Reglamento Organico)
  • Photograph ID 4×4 centimetres
  • Photocopy of ID.

I still haven’t finished high school, can I start studying?


No, but there are some exceptions established by the Law of Higher Education, Section. No. 7 and only under certain conditions, it is possible to accept admission to the English Teacher Training  College without a high school diploma.

What time of the year can I start studying?


Open enrollment for regular English courses for children, adolescents, and adults is effective for  the whole year. Enrollment for the English Teaching Training College is only open from June through March.

When does the preparatory course start?


The preparatory course takes place in the months of February and March.

What is the application deadline to submit all documents?


All application materials and supporting documents of first-time students must be received by July of the current year.

What are the alternative payment methods?


As of right now, the alternative payment methods are cash (at the Academic Secretary’s Office) or bank transfers.  The electronic payment will be available soon.

I would like to study at the English Teacher Training College, but I live far from Comodoro Rivadavia. Can I still study?


The ISFD 1806, English Teacher Training College, offers the opportunity – under the Web-based hybrid learning model (traditional classroom & web-based learning)- to those who want to study, but are far from the main campus location, or have  time restrictions due to work and/or organizational matters.

About the equivalencies from classes taken at other institutions.


Regarding,  equivalencies, those interested should submit an Academic Transcript and the syllabus  of each of the subjects passed. All documents must be signed and stamped by the issuing institution.
